The Orlando Performing Arts Center Corporation (OPAC) is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to develop, build and operate the new performing arts center.
OPAC plans to develop a mixed-use urban arts center with educational facilities, a public plaza, parking structures, with retail and commercial expansion.

The Orlando Performing Arts Center will be Central Florida¹s destination of choice for arts, cultural and entertainment programming. It will serve our diverse community by educating and nurturing artists, arts organizations, audiences and students throughout the region and the state of Florida.

The mission of OPAC is to:

  • Provide a showcase for regional arts groups
  • Create a great multi-cultural center for artistic excellence
  • Develop a center of arts education for children and adults alike
  • Establish a destination for Floridians and tourists
  • Build a welcoming place establishing community pride
  • Create an environment encouraging participation and new experiences

Of the 30 largest markets in the United States, Orlando is the only urban market that does not have a signature performing arts center. Over the past two decades, 25 of these cities invested billions of dollars in new performing arts facilities. Our citizens and leaders are ready to make a significant contribution to greatness and, together, we will build a legacy destination...the Orlando Performing Arts Center.
